Overview

Real World Evidence Executive – Generate & Architect Team (Secondary Data)
Adelphi Real World

Adelphi Real World are experts in the generation of real-world data and shaping of real-world evidence. Conducting multi-country real-world observational studies and healthcare database analyses for over 20 years, our services are grounded in the extensive heritage afforded by Adelphi’s proprietary Disease Specific Programmes™ and supported by the subsequent expansion of our real-world evidence services to meet pharmaceutical client needs.

Our real-world evidence is generated through the study of data captured in a real-world clinical practice environment, namely outside a conventional clinical trial setting. Through our expert analysis we transform the real-world data gathered in our observational studies into evidence; this can then be used to generate insights and drive understanding for our clients.

We are an expert team passionate about making a different in healthcare with a focus on learning and developing deep relationships with our clients.

The Generate team within ARW focus on generating real-world evidence (RWE) from secondary/pre-existing data sources, including electronic medical/healthcare records, claims data, registries, and other administrative data sources, and providing client consultancy on the design of real-world studies and data source selection.

Typical studies for the Architect service focus on identifying and assessing sources of real world data worldwide, to aid our clients in their real world evidence planning, and study feasibility.

Types of RWE for both of these services focuses on disease epidemiology (incidence/ prevalence), treatment patterns, comparative effectiveness, cost of illness and burden of illness, external comparator arm studies.  The RWE generated from our research is used to inform clinical development decisions, strategic marketing and assist in demonstrating product value for clients from the pharmaceutical industry.

Innovation is a core theme of the team, developing and evolving our services, data, and deliverables, including novel AI applications to aid in developing new methods and deliverables.

This is an entry level role and would suit someone who already has an understanding of studies, that can assess and utilise secondary data e.g. longitudinal cohort studies, and case-control studies (principally for RWE, Epidemiology and Health Outcomes clients). The Generate & Architect team is growing rapidly in response to growing awareness and demand for our services, therefore there is a great opportunity to shape and develop the future of the team; the team has doubled in size every year for 5 years in term of active projects, and is expected to continue to grow, creating many opportunities for personal development and specialisation.
